Thomas Evans (born December 31, 1976) is a footballer currently playing for York City.
He joined York City after being released by Scunthorpe United in the summer of 2006.
He was sent off for foul and abusive language in York City's game against Crawley Town, which York City ended up losing 3-0 having second choice keeper Arran Reid being used as his replacement.
He has expressed his views on goalkeeper's wearing protective gear, saying "I would like to see the first keeper who wears a headguard because he will be laughed at. I saw the two incidents on Match of the Day and I don't think Stephen Hunt intended to hurt or cause injury to Čech".[2]
