Tom Collins

- Tom Collins is also Australian slang for a rumour or idle gossip.
- Tom Collins is also a pen name for musician Claus Ogerman, who used this alias in the 1950s when recording vocals in Germany.
The Tom Collins is a cocktail and a variation on a Gin Sour. It is made of:
- gin
- lemon juice
- sugar
- splash of soda
Nowadays, commercial "sweet and sour" is often used as a replacement for the sugar and lemon juice.
