Tom Baker is a fictional character played by Daniel Dae Kim on the series 24.

Baker was a CTU field agent in the second and third seasons, who often accompanied Agent Jack Bauer on field assignments.
Baker was a reliable back-up agent, he assisted Bauer in the rescue of Kate Warner and later escorted Kate when she identified the terrorist Syed Ali at a local mosque. He later assisted in the capture of Ali soon after.
In Day 3, Baker assisted Agent Chase Edmunds in the hunt for Stephen Saunders. Saunders initially eluded them with a decoy location (a delay which unfortunately led to the death of CTU director Ryan Chappelle), Saunders was successfully captured soon after.
Baker has not been seen on the show since the third season, presumably since actor Daniel Dae Kim is now a regular cast member on the TV series Lost, which is filmed in Hawaii. He did, however, provide his voice and likeness for a brief appearance as Baker in 24: The Game. From the fourth season on, support for Jack Bauer in the field has typically been provided by Curtis Manning.
