Tomás Carrasquilla

Tomás Carrasquilla (January 17, 1858 - December 19, 1940) was a writer from Colombia. He was born in Santo Domingo, Antioquia and his most famous works all focused on the people of that province. He died in Medellín.

Some of his best-known works are: La marquesa de Yolombó, Salve, Regina, Luterito, Frutos de mi tierra, and San Antoñito.
