I'm not at all certain that Tommy was born in Aiken. His wife founded the prep school there, and their history has it that she lured Tommy to Aiken from New York because in Aiken, he could train full-time. I'll be happy to look into this further for a citation. Ezratrumpet 06:08, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
