I am a direct desendent of Hazrat Sheikh Salim Chishti and my father's family are still the custodians of the tomb. The Bulund Darwaza is indeed magnificant and even today there are divers who plunge a few hundred feet from the top of the Darwaza (gate) to the depths of Jhalra, a river that runs through the city. This is a tradition going back through the ages.
