Tolypocladium inflatum is a fungus isolated from Norwegian soil that, in certain conditions, produces Ciclosporin (Cyclosporine). It is sometimes also identified under a different species name, Hypocladium inflatum. In 1983 it was noted that the fungus was earlier called Tolypocladium niveum. [1] In 1996 Kathie Hodge determined that is is a species of Cordyceps.[2]
