Tolú

Tolú is a small town in Sucre Department, northern Colombia, close to the Colombian Atlantic Ocean. The municipality has an area of 500 km2.
Tolú specializes in ecotourism, offering globetrotters and travelers a unique environment, landscape, clear blue oceans ideal for diving and a rain forest to discover.
Tolú is an eponym for toluene and thus for trinitrotoluene, commonly known as TNT.
Tolú is a word that comes from the name of the indians that inhabitated the place, called Indios Tolúes.
