Todmorden railway station serves the town of Todmorden in West Yorkshire (previously partly in Lancashire). The station on the Caldervale Line 48 km (30.5) west of Leeds and 30 km (19.25 miles) north-east of Manchester Victoria.

Monday to Saturday daytimes, there is an half-hourly service from Todmorden to Manchester Victoria westbound and Leeds via Halifax eastbound. With an hourly service each way on evenings and Sundays.

The only station in Britain with "free pick your own herbs" Herbs are grown in large planters on platform 2, when alighting from the train on their way home, commuters can pick a few fresh herbs, to cook with their evening meal. All the beautiful planting on both platforms is done, and looked after by, Todmorden in Bloom.

Over on platform 1, is the very interesting "Platform 1 gallery", this art gallery run by Todmorden art group, has regular exhibitions, as well as selling hand made gifts, and other art work including hand crafted teddy bears. The station also has a small library on platform 1.

Todmorden Station is a great way into Todmorden Town, with it's listed buildings, Edwardian Theatre, (producing shows, operettas and showing films), Canal, wonderful hills and scenery, and vibrant market 5days a week. You can walk from the station up onto the Pennine way, and look down to see the wonders of the Calder valley.
