Tochigiyama Moriya

Tochigiyama Moriya(栃木山守也）was the 27th Yokozuna in Sumo wrestling from 1917 till 1924. Only 22 times had he lost while he had been an active sumo wrestler. Generally he is considered one of the pioneers of modern sumo.

In 1916, Tochigiyama had was defeated by Tachiyama, ending his series of 56 victories.
