Tobamoviruses are RNA viruses that infect plants.

The most common tobamovirus is probably tobacco mosaic virus, which infects tobacco and other plants including potatoes, tomatoes, and squashes.

The name "Tobamovirus" comes from the host and symptoms: Toba for Tobacco and mo for mosaic.
