[edit] Referencing
I'm trying to learn how to properly reference journal articles but the help pages appear to be cluttered and contradictory. The help pages include things like writing a reference plainly at the bottom of the page, using a template/table and writing all the information about the source at the first instance at which the source has been used. Would you help me to make sense of this, and maybe even clean up the help pages? It looks like every wikipedian has gone along and added their own thoughts and ideas but there must be a single way that works and includes all the needed features. Every time I try and learn more on article editting, I'm confronted with this barrage of rubbish... I think the instructions need to be a lot more concise. --Username132 (talk) 10:07, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
