[edit] Formal name
Based on their contact page and the logo it would appear that the correct name for the school is TMI-The Episcopal School of Texas. Vegaswikian 21:42, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
- Since there have been no comments, I will take that as meaning there are no objections to moving the article to TMI-The Episcopal School of Texas. Vegaswikian 21:15, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
- My only comment would be that formal name or not, the only name you ever hear used is Texas Military Institute. Even in Wikipedia, last time I looked everything was either piped that way or uses the redirect. — Laura Scudder ☎ 21:32, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
- That would be OK also and improvement over the current article name. Vegaswikian 21:45, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
- Nein, nein, nein. The name used in all school literature, except that specificly related to the JROTC program, written after 2005 is T.M.I.-The Episcopal School of Texas. While Wikipedia does not always use official names, it should unless a de facto name is demonstrably and considerably more common, is, not was. Pelegius 01:07, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] How is it military?
Is it? Are there cadets, or is it just a regular school? That should be noted. --Awiseman 19:37, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
- As is noted, the school has an optional JROTC program, which used to be mandetory. 01:11, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
- It is also one of 45 schools listed as military schools by the DoD.(Lbell07 03:48, 27 August 2006 (UTC))
