TK Longmire is the founder of Alt Universe Comix. His ideas are often philosophical or humorous.

Born Tyler Klein Longmire in the city of Calgary, Alberta, he had an unusual upbringing. His mother, Ann Klein, is largely a motorcycle enthusiast. He is estranged from his father.

Alt Universe Comix turned a page in web comics, using high ideas within the constraints of what some might call a 'low media.'

The semi-story line features a post apocalyptic world, where through nuclear winter human life has been transformed into marine life. Often humorous, TK's take on the world can be seen as observational vignettes on culture.


[edit] Daily Grind Ironman Challenge

Tyler Longmire is a competitor in the Daily Grind Iron Man Challenge. Due to the design of his underwater life comics (which often lack panel borders), there was some controversy early in the competition over whether or not he had violated competition's rules by posting multiple single-panel comics in a row.
