Monk's Diner
Monk's Diner has been proposed for deletion. An editor felt this website might not yet be notable enough for an article. Please review Wikipedia:Notability (websites) for the relevant guidelines. If you can improve the article to address these concerns, please do so.
If no one objects to the deletion within five days by removing the "prod" notice, the article may be deleted without further discussion. If you remove the prod notice, the deletion process will stop, but if an editor is still not satisfied that it meets Wikipedia guidelines, it may be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion for consensus. Bobby Lashley
Well if you look we are using the new format to display titles that removes the need of succession boxes by giving that information and more with out the tables messing up the flow of the articles... this has already been put in place to replace the old format in various other articles including Batista... if you have any further quieries please add them to the Wikiproject page for pro wrestling --- Paulley

This is Wikipedia, anyone can edit. I can edit the title lengths if I want to. Thanks, User: Clay4president
I agree this is nonsense to argue over this.
How early are you going to set the belt lengths? 2 hours before midnight?
And you complain about me starting at 10:09! You starting at 10:15 isn't any better!
Okay, we agree you get even days and I get odd. I was wondering how far this was gonna go. I was just thinking about making peace this afternoon. Thanks, User:Clay4president

I don't want to fight on this, but Batista vs. Henry was announced for the Bash.

World Championship
I see your point about ECW. But since the 80's the WWF Championship has been recognized b PWI as being a world title since 1963
My thought is when a Championship is recognized as a World Championship it stays a World Title until in discontinued by its home promotion i.e. when the company goes out of business, except when it's revived by a successor organization (i.e. ECW (WWE) & AWA).
What are my recognized Championships you may ask?
World Heavyweight Championship (WWE) of WWE SmackDown!
WWE Championship of WWE RAW
ECW World Heavyweight Championship of ECW (WWE)
NWA World Heavyweight Championship of NWA (Current owned by TNA)
AWA World Heavyweight Championship of AWA: Superstars of Wrestling
AJPW Triple Crown World Heavyweight Championship of AJPW
IWGP World Heavyweight Championship of New Japan
Defunct: WCW International World Heavyweight Championship of WCW
WCW World Heavyweight Championship of WCW (I recognized it to be the processor of the World Heavyweight Championship (WWE))
WWA World Heavyweight Championship of WWA
World Heavyweight Championship (Omaha) of AWA

Naruto
Look, I am not going through the same nonsense with you that I went through with The Wretched. Do me a favor. Click that link (it leads to the relevant section of his talk page), read what it says, and leave the article be. Naruto: Clash of Ninja (video game) and Naruto: Clash of Ninja 2 (video game) are the original articles. I did not add the (video game) tag at the end, I only decapitalized it. If you want the page moved, ask an administrator. Don't do copy/paste moves. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 14:39, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
- Seriously, if you don't stop, I'm going to report you for vandalism. You are using copy/paste moving to move a page. Wait for an admin to move it for you.
- See these links? They prove that I'm right. I'm getting tired of correcting these mistakes. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 21:57, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
- It's not a merger, it's a requested move. A request has already been filed. Leave it be for a few days and it'll be fine. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 22:16, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
GameCube category
Most, if not all, of the articles you added [[Category:Gamecube games]] to is redundant of [[Category:GameCube only games]]. I would suggest that you revert those changes. Thunderbrand 16:22, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
- There actually is a reason for them not be included into both. If you look at Cat:GameCube only games, you'll notice that it is a subcategory of Cat:GameCube games, which means that articles categorized in GameCube only games are also categorized in GameCube games without having to put the latter in the article. This way, it keeps the GameCube games category from becoming cluttered with games already present in GameCube only games. Robert 22:00, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

ECW Championship
You asked where do they recognize them? And PWI recognizes it as an official heavyweight championship. I suggest wrestlers who held the ECW title like Sandman, who held it 5 times, have his number changed back. — The King of Kings 01:27 July 06 '06
Well just as the groups as indicated. I just happened to stumble upon this page: http://www.boxofficemojo.com/. It will ease the process of finding this information. I feel so dumb after finding this page, but I think its a good idea that Wikipedia have an abbrieviated copy of it. -CableguyTK

Spoilers
Do NOT warn other users not to add 'spoilers' to pages, as they most certainly belong there. This is an encyclopedia, not a fansite, and any useful, verifiable information belongs there, whether it 'spoils' something for the reader or not. Warning users about this is innapropriate. --InShaneee 20:27, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
- I don't believe a wikiproject can simply 'decide' something like this, as it goes against site policy. TV spoilers are added here all the time for shows that have not aired; this is not unusual, and thus users should not be 'warned' about it. --InShaneee 20:49, 15 July 2006 (UTC)

Hard Justice
Per the official Manual of Style, contractions are to be avoided. McPhail 22:37, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
- There is no reason to use contractions, and using "vs." instead of "versus" is just sloppy. It's not as though the current WP:PW format is an officially approved guideline. McPhail 23:12, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

Bullet As I stated before it went thru a grammer check I fixed the problem that another poster put there. I took out all of his "peacock terms" and "weasel words". So grow up.--TheTruth2 19:03, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

Leave the summary in or the 3 revert rule will be violated. It is a summary of the match. People would like to see what happened.--TheTruth2 19:37, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

Also If you are concerned about the wrestling pages on this site, YOu should as well have summaries of the matches. IF lets say No Way OUt. WrestleMania 22
Per Wikipedia:Embedded list, "As a basic principle, you should avoid list-making in entries...Instead of giving a list of items, the significant items should be mentioned naturally within the text". The pertinent information can easily be merged with the body text. Trivia sections tend to be messy collections of non-notable information. McPhail 23:57, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
- Most of the stuff isn't really woth including. Trivia that is exclusive to a wrestler, e.g. Edge's undefeated streak, should be mentioned in their articles, not on the WrestleMania 22 page. McPhail 00:04, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
-
- Just as long as there are any trivia sections. McPhail 00:22, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
-
-
- I wouldn't go that far. As a rule, though, trivia sections should be avoided, so I don't see any point in adding them to articles. McPhail 09:06, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
-
-
-
-
- I don't have the time or the knowledge to edit Superbowl pages and whatnot. WrestleMania 22 is really the only pay-per-view article I actively monitor, and in both my opinion and the "opinion" of Wikipedia policy, not adding a trivia section to the article increases the quality of the article. It's not a case of double standards. McPhail 18:59, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

TNA
I personally prefer having an article for each event. It makes direct linking much simpler and permits more detailed recaps. McPhail 00:02, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

Why did you remove the sort terms from several articles in the Category:Sports in Rochester, New York? I thought it was more helpful to have them sorted by team name instead of all under "Rochester". Powers 01:51, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
WrestleMania Ratings
Rather than put the source on every page, I used http://www.prowrestlinghistory.com/supercards/usa/wwf/wwfindex.html for the PPV ratings. I tend to trust them and their accuracy. TJ Spyke 05:05, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
- Its cool but I just want you to know that none of the numbers on your website or any other web site are reliable as they all differ in the actual number. See...

SummerSlam
First off don't make empty promises to my IP addresses. Next, your not helping the SummerSlam articles, your taking away valuable information. I didn't take a month writing those articles for you to ruin them. The information I posted follows the format, has sources and is better formatted than your revisions (i.e, SummerSlam 2005). I would appriciate it if you didn't remove information like important match summaries. Thanks! — Moe Epsilon 22:48 August 01 '06
First, there's control of the content. Some contributors feel very possessive about material (be it categories, templates, articles, images or portals) they have donated to this project. Some go so far as to defend them against all intruders.
It's one thing to take an interest in an article that you maintain on your watchlist. Maybe you really are an expert or you just care about the topic a lot. But when this watchfulness crosses a certain line, then you're overdoing it.
You can't stop everyone in the world from editing "your" stuff, once you've posted it to Wikipedia. As each edit page clearly states:
If you don't want your material to be edited mercilessly or redistributed by others, do not submit it.--3bulletproof16 22:57, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

- I don't care about him editing it, I care about him removing content without any reason. There is absolutly no reason to revert my changes. Did you look at the SummerSlam 2005 article? The formatting is way off. He's removing information without a source and it goes against WP:PW formatting standards. If he actually had a reason for reverting me I might stop, but his senseless reverting needs to stop. — Moe Epsilon 23:02 August 01 '06
- I just check the WP:PW formatting for wrestling shows(again) and my edits to SS05 follow it perfectly. The edis I did cleaned it up, there are websites devoted to going into details of matches. TJ Spyke 23:07, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
- Saying its "perfect" is a bit of an overstatement considering the article is misaligned. Do have any sources for your information? And giving the main points of a match is not great detail. I gave the main points of the match and thats all that need to be said. — Moe Epsilon 23:13 August 01 '06
- If you would be so kind as to give the source for the changes to the attendence and buyrate numbers. If you could also explain your edits a little that might be great. — Moe Epsilon 23:17 August 01 '06

- If you are going to fix the format, then fix the format and don't just revert. You are creating too many bad links when you revert. I know you are retired and all but you of all people should know not to revert something that isn't vandalism. Correct but don't revert. --3bulletproof16 23:19, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

I didn't put in the buyrate number since I don't know that. I got the attendance number from Here but they are generally reliable(like any other site though they make mistakes from time to time). My understanding of the formatting is that it's supposed to be simple and straight to the point, who won an how(along with importent points like someone interfering). TJ Spyke 23:26, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
-
- And how was the content you removed not important points? And I suggest while there are multiple websites that say differant attendence numbers, I suggest sourcing your information and then putting numbers like: (ex. 15,500 - 17,000) instead of removing another source completely. — Moe Epsilon 23:32 August 01 '06

Solution
As long as I make some changes, I won't revert anymore. All I have to do is revert back to the previous version and then make edits from there. I'll try to keep it more brief (if it wasn't already), and add will try to make it as even as possible. — Moe Epsilon 00:02 August 02 '06

This wasn't the exact site that I got it from (I think that one was taken down) but I did find another source when you asked me about this here. Not the most reliable site but it looks reliable enough in my opinion. Normy132 08:02, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
Summerslam page
- Why did you remove my addition? The remaining matches section makes sense. Matches that have NOT happened aren't results, so they don't belong in a results section. RobJ1981 00:42, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
- It's just stupid. Results are NOT matches that haven't took place yet. Just because this is what happens always, doesn't mean it needs to continue. Two sections does no harm, and makes plenty of sense. RobJ1981 00:45, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

I took off the speedy delete on her article. I think she has importance (and as a fellow wrestling fan, I recognized her) though the article needs cleanup. If you still think the article merits deletion, please start a discussion in Wikipedia:AFD. Thanks! -Umdunno 05:07, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
More on Global Warning
- I watched Global Warning on Main Event when it happened. I have contacts throughout South-East Asia that watched it on their Pay Per View Channles as well. I s that enough "evidence"? Why would they have the announcers doing commentary? It is exactly the same as InsureXtion and Rebellion were to the UK!

Edit war brewing on 2007
I don't want to start an edit war on 2007, but I contest the notability of a professional wrestling event, which is largely scripted entertainment. Average Earthman, amongst others, seems to agree, and I hope you can understand this. I can tell your stance is pro-wrestling, but more people agree it's not sufficiently notable. Erath 22:03, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
A number of points here:
- I don't hate wrestling, I used to watch it quite regularly. I've now fallen out of the trend, but it's not a pathological hatred. At no point have I said I hate wrestling.
- Wrestlemania does not get mainstream press outwith the U.S. - this is an important point to consider. The show has little international notability in the press - and while it is shown in 100 countries, many other, more competitive and more watched sports are too - for example, Formula One Grands Prix, FA Premier League football.
- And largely, it fails on notability, in my opinion, because it is simply scripted. A genuine sporting event, of which the winner is fairly determined, has a great deal more notability.

Response to Criticism
How is it vandalism? I took off Metroid Prime 3 because it was confirmed to be delayed by N-Philes. That's not vandalism. That's reported news. And the "unconfirmed games" as their put are confirmed. By either IGN, Nintendo, or the developer. They all had cited sources at one point, but someone deleted them. --68.115.84.52 03:25, 23 August 2006 (UTC)

RE: Sonic The Hedgehog
Funny, I know for sure it's Sonic the hedgehog because that's what Sonic 1's, Sonic 2's, Sonic 3's, Sonic & Knuckle's and Sonic Heroes' manuels say (I can't find the adventure or advance manuels...). I've uploaded a scan of Sonic Heroes' manuel since it's the most recent one I own to ImageShack here. Brandon Dilbeck says that it's The in Sonic Riders, but that game isn't as canon, although it does make me waiver my opinion a bit. I can't find anything on the Sonic/Sega website without everything in all caps, unfortunately. Finally, since the name of the article is Sonic the Hedgehog, it seems fitting that he's called Sonic the Hedgehog in the article. Sonic3KMaster(鉄也)(talk) 03:37, 25 August 2006 (UTC)

Sticking out like a sore thumb
I've been questioning the quality of the WrestleMania 22 article for a while now and to be honest, I think it's a total train wreck. Other than the obvious inconsistencies, it has way, WAY, too many non-notable points, the opening paragraphs are like a separate article by itself, and not a single reference is made to an official WWE press release. After seeing your recent work on other wrestling event articles I was wondering if you could possibly help me in updating the article to WP:PW standards. -- bulletproof 3:16 04:11, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you. It looks much better now. -- bulletproof 3:16 04:35, 28 August 2006 (UTC)

Jeff Hardy
Jeff Hardy has been back on WWE TV for 1 week so how is it I'm posting weekly info? It's been 1 week. That's all you can talk about.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by RAMistheMAN (talk • contribs).
- It's not a lot of info. All it says is that Jeff won by DQ after Lita interfered of Edge. That stuff about him signing a contract and inturpting Edge was already there before I posted anything. I just changed it up a bit. Now leave me alone. I don't really care what you have to say to me.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by RAMistheMAN (talk • contribs).
WWE RAW Production Notes
I was just curious as to why you removed my edit about WWE having the August 28th, 2006 episode held in Trump Plaza. Yes, I realize that RAW has been in other venues WrestleMania has been held in, but everything is notable - especially since this is the first time since WrestleMania V that WWE has held any show in Trump Plaza. Not so sound harsh here, but this is not the first time something I have added to the Wikipedia WWE RAW entry. I'm getting really tired of having my edits removed with no explanation. Srosenow 98 05:36, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
- Addendum: I was the one who added that remark on the Trump Plaza for visitors who visit that page with intent to look up info. on Trump Plaza alone, not just WWE or WrestleManias 4 and 5. I'd really like to know who decides what's notable and what isn't. The fact that this is the first time since WrestleMania V (1989) that the WWE has held a show (WWE RAW) in Trump Plaza should make it notable enough on the RAW "Production" entry.Srosenow 98 05:47, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

Dragon Ball canon
For something to be canon, it needs to be at least mostly done by the creator. Toriyama had very very little to do with GT, so that means it is non-canon. The DBZ Movies and GT are more or less the same: Toriyama made some designs here and there, but TOEI did the rest. Just because Toriyama had something to do with the Movies, doesn't mean they're canon. The Movies also have many plot holes, just like GT.
Your Star Trek point is also irrelevant. The creator of Star Trek died, thus the company that had the most rights became the ones to decide what is and isn't canon. Toriyama is still very much alive, so TOEI does not decide what's canon.
You constantly say we have yet to provide proof, but it is you who has yet to do anything but say " You fans don't decide what's canon! ". We have stated all the facts, and all the facts point to GT being non-canon to the original manga. You don't even bother to take what we say into consideration. I understand that you think GT is canon, but you are a fan, and you do not decide what is canon. You haven't given any facts at all, yet we have given many. I think it would be in your best interest to stop this nonsense, because I'm sure you don't want to get blocked (and I don't want you to get blocked either).
If you have time, have a look at Wiki-star's fued on Majin Buu. It is very similar to what you're doing now, and nobody wants you to end up indef. blocked like Wiki-star. I encourage your right to have an opinion, but Wikipedia is built on facts, not opinions.--KojiDude 02:41, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
WWE Title Exchanges

GT
Listen, I told you why it isn't canon. You have yet to provide any proof or facts. What do you have to show that GT is canon, besides your opinion, that overules the facts I gave you? Nothing. In my opinon, everything after the point where Freeza uses his Death Ball on Namek (Androids Saga, Cell Saga, Buu Saga, everything) is non-canon, but I'm not going around changing articles to make it say that, am I? No, because it's my opinion, just like GT being canon is your opinion. Stop vandalizing.--KojiDude 21:29, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
If you revert the page once more, I am going to report you on WP:AIV for a blocking so you can have time to cool down and think clearly.--KojiDude 21:45, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

Stop adding the {{fact}} tags to Bebi's article. It is a fact that what isn't in the original manga is non-canon. If you say otherwise, you are vandalizing. Consider improving Wikipedia, rather than damaging the work of others.--KojiDude 07:41, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

WWE championship by reign
It's niot vandalism, and nor do WWE 'ignore 'it'? WWE decide who can be and can not be recognised as champ, if WWE decided to wipe a former champ from the board, it is their right. Look at the history of belt page. Many ppl have 'won' the belt, only for the win not to be upheld. Rob Van Dam, Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho and Antonnio Inoki, there may be more, these are just the ones we know aboot. Like wise the it is similar to the dispute over AWA champioships and IWGP championship won by Hogan, for a long time Hogan was not classed as a former AWA champion, because he was not recognised by the AWA as such, that was changed and reverted, and so now Hogan is a former AWA champ. Only the company involved can confer champioship status, otherwise it's not valid, and the WWE does not confer that Inoki was never champ, he may have 'won' the belt (like Benoit), but he doesn't appear on the rolll becaue it is not recognised, WWE still think of Backlund as the champ at that time, therefore Inoki did not hold the championship, that's how championships work(Halbared 08:38, 2 September 2006 (UTC))
- Pro Wrestling Illustrated is not the keeper of WWE history, the WWE is. PWI is an independent magazine. PWI cannot confer championship status on a person, only the organisation in question can do this. Also please refrain from name calling.(Halbared 19:52, 2 September 2006 (UTC))

PPV Buyrates
I don't understand why you're deleting the PPV buyrates I added to some of the pages. The older ones are courtesy of the Wrestling Observer newsletter and the newer numbers are courtesy of WWE's press conference for God sake. I'm not trying to cause a stir, I just thought the information would be helpful to some as it is interesting to look back and see how well some events did. Would be grateful for a reply. Thanks. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Airraidcrash (talk • contribs).
Fair enough. Seems odd that such a small amount of info could cause such trouble to be removed when it's information about the event. Strange but whatever... OH, but how do attendences actually help the article if you don't mind me asking? If you say that about buyrates, then it's seems very weird that there's a lot of other "uesless" info...??? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Airraidcrash (talk • contribs).
I see where you're coming from. Its just the buyrate is *just* as important as the attendance, especially when it comes to Wrestlemania. If I were suggesting listing the rating of every Raw or Smackdown that would be another story ;) Anyway, it doesn't matter to me thattt much, so you win. Even though I think it is a tad illogical... I can still see what you're saying. Thanks for replying. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Airraidcrash (talk • contribs).
