Tirhut Division

Tirhut division is an administrative geographical unit of Bihar state of India. Muzaffarpur is the administrative headquarters of the division. Currently (2005), the division consists of West Champaran, also called Bettiah district; East Champaran, also called Motihari district; Muzaffarpur district; Sitamarhi district; Sheohar district; Vaishali district, also called Hajipur district.
