it's still a seperate entity with seperate branding ... the page should remain standalone with a reference to 3com.

I agree. TippingPoint (both as Netpliance & TippingPoint) was notable before the merger. (The TippingPoint & Netpliance pages should be merged!) In many ways, it is still operating separately from the rest of 3Com. 3Com has a history of buying companies & then spinning them off again. --Malirath 18:52, 11 May 2006 (UTC)
