Tinsley Carmichael is a character in The It Girl novels by Cecily von Ziegesar. She is is described as being very beautiful and extremely bitchy. She has long black hair and violet eyes, which everyone says are her best feature.

Tinsley first appears in the It Girl novel Notorious, even though she is mentioned many times in the first book. Tinsley is a rich socialite who attends Waverly Academy, and can basically get any guy she wants. In the first book, it's mention that she had a relationship with Easy Walsh in her freshman year, and that her two best friends are Callie Vernon and Brett Messerschmidt.
