[edit] Sources for The Food Programme
Hello, good work on The Food Programme, and thanks for the contribution. However, you did not provide any references or sources in the article. Keeping Wikipedia accurate and verifiable is very important, and as you might be aware there is currently a push to encourage editors to cite the sources they used when adding content. From what websites, books, or other places did you learn the information that you added to The Food Programme? Would it be possible for you to mention them in the article? You can simply add links, or see WP:CITET if you wish to review some of the different citation methods. Thanks! BRIAN0918 23:58, 4 December 2005 (UTC)
Done now, and I learnt a fair bit about both Wikipedia and food along the way. Timffl 14:27, 18 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sigg
The above AfD discussion has been closed by me with the consensus being 'delete'. You are free to write a new article; bear in mind that it will need to satisfy at least one of the criteria outlined in WP:CORP in order to avoid a second deletion.
I notice you have a "scratch area" below this paragraph; perhaps you may want to move the article text you're working on into a subpage of your user page, such as User:Timffl/Sigg. It is neater and prevents others from accidentally erasing your article draft when they edit this page to leave you a comment. Regards, Kimchi.sg 16:06, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

Sigg Bottle
The Sigg Bottle is a lightweight aluminium drinking bottles manufactured in recognisable form since 1929 by Sigg of Switzerland. An example is part of the permanent collection at the New York Museum of Modern Art.
The bottles are made from a solid piece of aluminium and pressed into form. Different models, colors and designs are available, though the classic colour is a shade of deep red. The bottle tops are interchangeable screw fitting and range from sports style caps through to the standard ring cap for attachment to a rucksack. Sigg has always created round bottles, but the new line-up for 2006 includes an oval bottle in three primary colors, with a luxury-edition in black which includes a drinking cup with foldable handles.
A special inner coating is used which is resistant to acid drinks such as fruit juices and which should flex and not break if the bottle is dented.
Due to the fact that the bottles are very light and made from aluminium, heat or cold quickly passes from the bottle into the exterior environment. Hot liquids cool off and cold liquids will create condensation on the outside of the bottle. In order to resolve this problem, a range of insulation poaches are available in varying colours.
Similar bottles are available from a wide range of companies, there is a risk that the term Sigg Bottle could become generic.
