Timothy Ting

Dr. Timothy Ting is a well-known political commentator, pollster, and radio and television show host in Taiwan. Dr. Ting has hosted such mass media programs as "Crossfire" on TNN and "Good Morning Taiwan" on News 98 Radio.

In 1991, Dr. Ting founded the Gallup Taiwan Organization, whose public opinion polls have contributed greatly to the democratization of the Taiwanese political system. During the 2004 R.O.C. presidential elections, Dr. Ting represented the con-side, as part of a series of nationally televised debates, against DPP Legislator Chiu Tai-san regarding the nation-wide consultative referendum.
