Timothy Johnson

Dr. G. Timothy Johnson, frequently called Tim Johnson, is the current main medical editor/contributor for ABC News. He provides on-air medical ABC's World News Tonight, Nightline and 20/20. He also appears on Good Morning America. Johnson is on the faculty of Harvard Medical School and on the staff of Massachusetts General Hospital.

Johnson received his undergraduate degree from Augustana College, earning Phi Beta Kappa honors. He graduated from North Park Theological Seminary in 1963 and is an ordained minister with the Evangelical Covenant Church. After two years in the mininstry, he entered medical school.[1] He graduated summa cum laude from Albany Medical College of Union University. Johnson also has a Masters degree in Public Health from Harvard University.
