Chaisson started his professional music career at 14, joining his older brothers and cousins in the celtic rock band Kindle. He released his debut CD when he was 15, a recording which featured the young musician's fiddling ability. His sophomore independent release "Something Acoustic" won the Pop/Rock Album of the Year at the Prince Edward Island Music Awards show and a showcase spot at the 2005 East Coast Music Awards. Two singles from his third recording "Even" went #1 on the nationally syndicated radio program East Coast Countdown.
