Tim Smith (One Tree Hill)

Tim Smith is a character on CW show One Tree Hill. He is a Tree Hill Raven and Nathan Scott's former best friend. He is potrayed by Brett Claywell.

In the first season of One Tree Hill, Tim was Nathan's best friend and always helped him to bother Lucas and often took the blame for Nathan's mistakes. He is sex-obsessed and always wanting to party, much like Brooke in season 1 although he never matured. It has been hinted several times that his feelings towards Nathan were more than friendship. He and Nathan grew more and more estranged over the years, since his behavior was pretty much bothering everyone and they felt he was a nuisance.

In the later seasons his role was much less important. In season 2 he confronted Nathan about their friendship and they resumed it but nothing significant has happened since. He continues playing basketball and was very upset that no girl wanted him at the fantasy boy draft. In his time capsule he pretented to be harassed by girls and to be Brooke's boyfriend which annoyed her after the time capsule incident even more than his crude remarks before already did.

In season 4, his absence from the show was addressed in passing by his mother Sherri and Dan Scott. Apparently, Tim is a special school for "slower" students.
