Tim Skipper is the lead singer and guitarist of the Christian rock band House of Heroes. The band, which was originally called No Tagbacks, was started in 2002.

No Tagbacks was a punk band primarily, but after a few years, Skipper and the rest of the band decided to restart the band as a Christian rock band. After recording their first album on a smaller label, Skipper and his fellow bandmates got a record deal with Gotee Records in 2005.

When the band and their friends Relient K play in the same place on the same day, Skipper will do guest vocals for Relient K most of the time, and Relient K's Matt Thiessen does the same for House of Heroes. Thiessen is primarily a guest vocalist on the House of Heroes song "Mercedes Baby", while Skipper is primarily a guest vocalist on the Relient K song "More Than Useless".
