Tim Severin
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Tim Severin was born in India in 1940. While still a student of Geography and History at Tonbridge School and Oxford University he embarked on the Marco Polo Expedition with Stanley Johnson and Michael de Larrabeiti. This was the start of his career as an explorer and writer. Severin has recreated a number of legendary voyages and journeys in order to determine how much of the legends are based on factual experience.
He currently lives in Ireland.
