Tim Preece

Tim Preece (born 5 August 1938 in Shrewsbury, Shropshire) is a British actor prominent in the 1970s on television.
He played the politically correct Tom Patterson on The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin and also had a role in Doctor Who in 1973. He later appeared as the editor of a local newspaper in 'The Journalist' an episode of People Like Us with Chris Langham (first broadcast on 3 June 2001).
