Tim Phillips (musician)

Tim Phillips is a British singer-songwriter. He was born in Western Canada but is now based in London.
In 2001 he formed the band Darkroom, which lasted until late 2003. In March 2006 he released his first solo album, Ricochet. He continues to perform on his own and with his band CatHead as well as currently working on his second solo album, Better is Good.
He has written, together with television composer Murray Gold, the music for the Channel 4 television series Shameless. Phillips also provided the vocals for Gold's composition "Song for Ten", an original song composed for the Doctor Who 2005 Christmas special, The Christmas Invasion.[1]
