Timothy Jay Nordwind is the bassist and vocalist for the American rock band Ok Go.

Nordwind was born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan before moving to Chicago, Illinois in the late 90's. In Chicago, Nordwind, Dan Konopka, and Andy Duncan (musician) formed a band called, Stanley's Joyful Noise , which was heavily influenced by D.C. punk rock. The trio, along with Damian Kulash , Nordwind's childhood friend who moved to Chicago from Washington D.C., formed the band, Ok Go in 1998. Nordwind became OK Go's official lip-syncher for their homemade choreographed videos such as "A Million Ways" and "Here It Goes Again" even though Kulash is the actual lead singer.
