Tim Jensen is a long-time collaborator with anime soundtrack producer/composer Yoko Kanno and her group The Seatbelts. He has worked with her on many soundtracks, including Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell and Wolf's Rain. He has also collaborated with the The Brilliant Green as an English language consultant.

He is married to May Jensen.
