Tim Doyle

Tim Doyle is a veteran television comedy writer and showrunner whose credits include "Roseanne," "Ellen," "Sports Night" and the cult comedy series "Andy Richter Controls The Universe." After graduating from the USC School of Cinematic Arts Tim Doyle began his career in 1990 as a writer on the ABC satiric puppet show "Dinosaurs." From there he has worked on many series and developed numerous pilots, most recently serving as executive producer on "Still Standing" for CBS. Doyle has a reputation for stepping in as a "showrunner" on shows which are in trouble or which have controversial stars -- Roseanne, Brett Butler ("Grace Under Fire"), and Ellen DeGeneres.
