Tim Cordes

Tim Cordes is a blind American physician who earned an M.D. from the University of Wisconsin in 2005, and is one of the few blind people to have ever earned the degree. Valedictorian of University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry, Dr. Cordes has also earned a black belt in jujitsu, and carried the Olympic Torch through Wisconsin in 2002. Since adolescence, Dr. Cordes has been assisted by a guide dog. Cordes attended Columbus High School (Iowa) in Waterloo, Iowa.
