Tilt (Graffitilt)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Tilt is a french traditional graffiti artist, originating from Toulouse . He is a self declared "graffiti fetishist", who learned his trade in the streets and on trains as a youngster. Tilt exposed and worked in the U.S.A, Hong Kong, Japan, Mexico, Thailand, Canada, and throughout Europe.

Tilt loves demonstrating that basic, primitive graffiti can be as strong as complicated 3D lettering, wildstyles and characters. His focus on fun, high impact shapes and strong colours is a reflection of his history as a true graffiti writer, trained on the streets and in the train yards. Similarly, his extensive use of bubbly, curvaceous forms relates to his obsession with beautiful females. Tilt published in 2006 "Fetish Bubble Girls" a book of photography of painted girls. Tilt achieved a visual collaboration with the french musician Electrosexual on his forthcoming record release Fine as Fuck on the Rock Machine Records french label. He is planing heading on more tours and of course painting murals and wallpieces.
