Tilst

Tilst is a suburban area of Århus, Denmark situated some 10 km. to the west of Århus.

The Tilst area is notably marked by big city blocks and large traditional suburban areas. In the surrounding area there is several mega (by Danish standards) shops which mainly service the inner city population of Århus.

The area is divided by the Viborgvej road with Tilst on the northern side while the True and Skjolhøj area is situated to the south, bordering Brabrand and Hasle. The presence of numerous ethnic groups makes Tilst a multicultural suburb of Århus.
