Tilak Nagar

Tilak Nagar is one of the areas in West Delhi. It is approximately seventeen kilometers from the New Delhi Railway station and twenty-two kilometers from the Indira Gandhi international airport. Tilak Nagar is connected with Delhi Metro from Connaught Place, making it easier for the commuters to reach Tilak Nagar. Tilak Nagar is quite popular for its market, offering wide variety of products like branded clothings, consumer durables.

The demography of Tilak Nagar basically consists of Sikhs and Hindu Punjabis living in perfect harmony with each other. Various areas like Ashok Nagar, Fateh Nagar, Virender Nagar, Shahpura, Sant Nagar all fall under the name of Tilak Nagar constituency. The landmark of Tilak Nagar is a Gurdwara, which is in 20th block of Tilak Nagar.

For entertainment one can go to PVR Vikas Puri and Satyam Cineplex in Janak Puri district center. In past few years the infrastructure has improved in Tilak Nagar with a flyover and landscaping of parks and playgrounds.

It has two Stations of Delhi Metro Rail Tilak Nagar and Subhash Nagar Stations of Indraprastha-Dwarka Delhi Metro Rail Line.
