[edit] Proposed WikiProject: Leather History
I propose to start a new WikiProject that documents Leather History as outlined by the Leather History Timeline created for the Leather Archives and Museum.
First, we would copy the timeline (with the LA&M's permission) to Wikipedia. Second, we would create articles to support the timeline. Thirdly, we would add articles to fill in gaps in the timeline.

Description: This project proposes to increase and improve the coverage in Wikipedia of the history of leather culture such as BDSM organizations, motorcycle clubs, and related events.

[edit] Welcome!
Hello, Tiger Marc, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions; I hope you like the place and decide to stay. We're glad to have you in our community! Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- If you haven't already, drop by the New user log and tell others a bit about yourself.
- Always sign your posts on talk pages! That way, others will know who left which comments.
- The Five Pillars of Wikipedia
- Simplified Ruleset
- How to edit a page
- Editing, policy, conduct, and structure tutorial
- Picture tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Naming conventions
- Manual of Style
- Wikipedia Glossary
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Though we all make goofy mistakes, here is what Wikipedia is not. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to see the help pages or add a question to the village pump. The Community Portal can also be very useful.
Happy editing!
Now, the above was a template, and I myself know (from experience) that nothing gets the job done better than a real human, so feel free to drop me a line right there :) I hope you have fun on Wikipedia! --Master of Puppets 05:10, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Awesome :)
I noticed that you adopted one of my userboxes; mainly, the Vandalism one. Would you know how to create and contribute a template to the userbox area? I'm rubbish with code, I only know how to fix vandalism and the like. Thanks, mate :) --Master of Puppets(MASTER!MASTER!) 05:22, 14 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] leather
I would like to delete this page and replace it with a redirect for International Mr Leather (upper case) which would cover more of the redirects. Please note: a) you did not need to delete the article - you should have simply changed it; b) the correct redirect was already there to International Mister Leather. There is no International Mr Leather article and International Mr. Leather is also a redirect. -- RHaworth 07:54, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] You win!
Tiger Marc has earned a Cernen's Plusbox for for beating me to the punch and reverting apparent template vandalism! |

[edit] Hello
I am glad you like the BDSM/leather flag and userbox, I drew it myself from a copy of a little picture :)
I think it would be a better idea to have a "BDSM wikiproject" or "fetish wikiproject" (fetish wikiproject could be better but then we could also get unwanted people as well as being an easier target for prudes
Hope you think about it
Category:Kinky Wikipedians also has some relevant information if you've seen it: I just put up a notice about the possibility of a wikiproject (btw have you checked out wipipedia? it's quite good) --Mistress Selina Kyle (Α⇔Ω ¦ ⇒✉) 12:56, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Cornell
I have just started WikiProject Cornell University, an attempt to thoroughly cover topics related to Cornell. If you would like to participate, you can visit the project page, where you can join the project and see a list of open tasks. Thanks! —mercuryboardtalk 05:25, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia's LGBT Community
Hi, Tiger Marc! You may not know that Wikipedia has both an LGBT Notice Board and an LGBT Studies WikiProject. If you haven't yet done so, take a look at both of them. They sorely need attention and participation! Some things on the "To-Do List" that merit particular attention include:
Please feel free to participate in any or all of these activities! And if you feel like it, add yourself to either the Noticeboard Members or the WikiProject Participants - or both! |

[edit] WikiProject LGBT studies
Hello! I noticed that your userpage mentions that you are interested in LGBT issues. Would you be interested in joining WikiProject LGBT studies? The WikiProject's been a bit inactive recently and some of us are trying to get it going again. We'd love to have you on board! Dev920 (Have a nice day!) 21:21, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
