Tighina County

Tighina County was, until February 2003, a major subdivision (Judeţ) of Moldova with its capital at Căuşeni. It bordered Ukraine, Transnistria, Lăpuşna County and Chişinău municipality.
Major cities in the county included Tighina, Cainari, Căuşeni, Olăneşti, and Ştefan Vodă.
Currently, part of the former county (including Tighina/Bender) is in the breakaway unrecognized state of Transnistria.
