[edit] Are the Tiger Cubs still their own group

Are the Tiger Cubs no longer a separate entity, with their own meetings and leaders etc., and are now just a rank for the Cub Scouts? Could someone with this knowledge clean up and clarify this. Tiger Cubs where I grew up in the 1980s/early 90s where a separate entity and after outgrowing them you would then move up to Cub Scouts. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.232.85.217 (talkcontribs).

This article was merged into Cub Scouts (Boy Scouts of America), then restored after a dispute, but no one is really maintaining this. Yes, Tiger Cubs were integrated in 2001. See the Cub Scout article for more info. --Gadget850 ( Ed) 22:33, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Merge

It is proposed that the Cub Scout ranks be merged into one article per discussin at the Scouting portal. Please discuss at Talk:Advancement in Cub Scouts (Boy Scouts of America). --Gadget850 ( Ed) 14:28, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
