TI-Nspire CAS

TI-Nspire CAS is a Computer Algebra System developed by Texas Instruments. It is available as Handheld and also as software for PCs and Macs. It will be available in Q2 2007.

The TI-Nspire CAS handheld has greatly improved hardware, compared to other TI graphic calculators. This includes 16Mb of computing memory (versus 188Kb in the TI-89 Titanium and Voyage 200) and 20Mb of storage memory (versus 2.7 Mb in the TI-89 Titanium and Voyage 200). The improved LCD screen has a higher resolution (320*240) and is capable of displaying multiple shades of gray [1]. The handheld features an alphabetical keyboard, which is allowed for use on the AP Calculus exam [2].
