Thurlby by Bourne

Thurlby is called Thurlby by Bourne when there is a need to distinguish between it and Thurlby by Lincoln or the hamlet of Thurlby in the parish of Bilsby, in the Lincolnshire Marsh.

Thurlby by Bourne is a civil parish and village in the district of South Kesteven lying between the parishes of Bourne and Baston, at grid reference TF095171. Most of the village lies to the west of the A15 road but a part, including the parish church is to the east. Geographically it is on the western edge of the Lincolnshire fens.

The parish includes Northorpe, Obthorpe and Kate's Bridge.
