Thug Mentality is an album by rapper Krayzie Bone. The album was released on April 6, 1999 on Mo Thugs Records, Ruthless Records and Relativity Records. It was his first solo album and it became a big success. It's a rare 2-CD album, and even though the price is higher, it sold a solid 137,357 copies its first week on the shelves and debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
Krayzie Bone wrote and recorded over 150 songs for the album, 38 ended up on the cd. He released two singles from the album, "Thug Mentality" and "Paper".
Thug Mentality 1999 was certified Platinum the same year according to RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America). No information on the exact date nor the current sales.
