-- Unfortunately the plane was a decoy. It exploded, killing Proudstar (in X-Men #95 1975). --

Has far as I remember the plane wasn't a decoy, but just a normal military plane that Nefaria used to escape in and Thunderbird jumped onto it and began punching into the instruments till it exploded since he hit some critical part of the plane. So it was more of an accident, then a trap setup to kill him. -- Grumbel 15:57, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Merges

There is a proposal to merge Thunderbird (Exiles) and John proudstar (exiles) into this article.

[edit] Survey

  • Merge - These are variations on the same character; they should be integrated just like other characters that have alternate-world versions, including those who have appeared in Exiles. Concern about article size can be addressed by trimming these excessive articles down to a respectable length. --Chris Griswold 23:54, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
  • Merge - They are all variations of the same character with the same superhero name, they belong in the same article. I'd see an argument for this split if, say, the Exiles version were another mutant who had taken the name Thunderbird, but that's not the case here. -Markeer 03:12, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
  • Merge (forgot to officially add my own vote) Dr Archeville 15:16, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
  • Redirect given that the other pages are in massive copyvio, I saw we just dump and redirect. They need to be redone anyway. -- Ipstenu (talk|contribs) 00:28, 14 July 2006 (UTC)

This is a clear CONSENSUS TO MERGE CovenantD 16:10, 15 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Other comics Thunderbirds

Once upon a time the heading of this article included convenient links for Warpath (comics) and Neal Shaara, both of whom are at least as much "Thunderbird (comics)" as John Proudstar. Why was that heading dropped? I think we should reinstate it. Luis Dantas 13:00, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
