In my opinion, the link belongs under See Also. We gotta keep in mind Marx's views on this, and how groups like the Black Panthers and some gangsta rappers have disagreed, stating that the lumpenproletariat (THUGZ and gangstas) are in fact a powerful force with revolutionary potential. Both articles need improvement, but the link seems clear. If someone disagrees, please discuss this in a civil fashion rather than simply reverting the edits. I think that, while quite possibly relevant, linking to lumpenproletariat borders on original research, and it should be removed. But this article has more serious problems. --Hamiltonian 03:11, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

A lot of apparent bias, and could definitely use some cleanup.

I agree that there is a lot of bias perspective in this article, and none of it uses any actual evidence. It needs help from urban studies, sociology, psychology or possibly african american studies concentrates. -Sekou
