Throwing Copper is the 1994 album by the rock band LIVE. Many critics and fans consider it the band's breakthrough album, due to the commercial success of the singles "Lightning Crashes", "I Alone", "Selling the Drama" and "All Over You." It was produced by Jerry Harrison of the Talking Heads and was recorded at Pachyderm Recording Studio. The cover art is a painting by Scottish artist Peter Howson titled Sisters of Mercy. To date, the album has sold over eight million copies in the U.S.
