Three quarter pants

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

'Three quarter pants, 3/4 pants, manpris, shants, shpants, clam diggers, high water pants, jams or peddle-pushers are commonly used expressions to mean pants that are longer than shorts but are not yet pants length. They typically come down to between knee and ankle length. This phenomenon has been in fashion for about the same length of time as skort, layering clothing and other combined clothing fashions. Whilst similar to Capri pants, they have their own unique style. Some designers also use the different words to mean slightly different things, such as having one leg long the other leg short.
