Three Dirty Birds is an Australian band based in Brisbane consisting of Sam Hickey (Bass, Vocals), Nick Hughes (Lead Guitarist) and James Wright (Drums).

Making their debut in 2006 with the Nova Rock School competition, winning $10,000 and performing live at the Brisbane Exhibition 2006 was their kickstart to success. They then followed this win with an opening gig for Shihad at the Nova Stage later in the week.

Their style features classic rock elements infused with funk and soul. The band is unsigned and are looking to record more originals to put on a possible E.P later in the year.

The band's name is taken from the Red Hot Chili Peppers song, Thirty Dirty Birds.

The band members reside at the Anglican Church Grammar School in Brisbane, in which they started the band.
