[edit] Plot summary

Corey Webster (Brolin) is a skateboarder who dreams of going pro. While staying with some friends, while waiting to skate in a downhill competition, he falls in love with a girl named Chrissy. The one problem is that she is the sister of Tommy Hook, leader of the skateboard gang, "the Daggers," and one of Corey's rivals. Throughout the movie, Corey and his friends pick up girls, rebuild cars, cause a little trouble, and, of course, cruise the beach communities on their skateboards.
