Hardcore trio Thoughts of Ionesco were formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1996. The band released five albums and disbanded in 2005. In 2006, Chicago metal label Seventh Rule Recordings released a CD and DVD anthology.
Thoughts of Ionesco members went on to play in Alkaline Trio, The Holy Fire, Leaving Rouge and Paradise.
