[edit] Character

The younger of the Forrester sons, Thorne grew up desperate to prove himself to his family. After numerous failed attempts at a relationship with Macy Alexander (Bobbie Eakes) and a disastrous marriage to Brooke, he found happiness with Darla Einstein (Schae Harrison) in 2003. The couple were happily married until her death in July 2006. Thorne was thrilled when, in 2004, his parents made him president of Forrester Creations. However, when the eldest (and favoured) Forrester son, Ridge (Ronn Moss) decided to return to the company, Eric (John McCook) and Stephanie (Susan Flannery) demoted Thorne to Vice President in favour of Ridge. Tired of being the unappreciated younger son, Thorne trashed his father's office in a fit of rage, and left Forrester to join Spectra Fashions, taking many of their designs with him. Rather than ride on Eric and Ridge's designs, Thorne had a change of heart, and decided to make the newly renamed Spectra Couture famous for its own designs and also began designing himself, something he had given up years earlier when discouraged by his family, who believed Ridge was better. After Spectra CEO Sally (Darlene Conley) bet everything on Spectra winning the fashion show, Thorne was out of a job and out of a company, but Stephanie, having recently discovered she was the rightful owner of Forrester Creations, reinstated Thorne the company's president, a position in which he currently remains.

Currently, Thorne is trying to raise Alexandria, and has started a relationship with Taylor, whom he is growing to love.
