Thorndale is a station on the Chicago Transit Authority's Red Line, part of the Chicago 'L' metro system. It is located at 1118 W. Thorndale Avenue in Chicago, Illinois (directional coordinates 5900 north, 1200 west), in the Edgewater neighborhood.

The station opened in 1915, but was rebuilt to a design by architect Charles P. Rawson when the Northwestern Elevated Railroad Company raised the tracks between Wilson and Howard onto an embankment in 1921. Four tracks pass through the station, but there is only single island platform in the center of the tracks; Purple Line express services use the outside tracks but do not stop.
