Thon (pronoun)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Thon is a proposed gender-neutral third person singular personal pronoun for the English language (see gender-neutral pronouns). Some people may find the proposed "thon" to be better than the proposed Sie, ze, ve and xe, because unlike those proposed pronouns, "thon" does not closely resemble either "he" or "she".

The possessive of "thon" is "thons" and the reflexive is "thonself".

"Thon" was proposed in 1884 by American lawyer Charles Converse.
